Although the final installment of the Shaolin Sisters Series, there is another accompanying series, Shaolin Sisters: Reborn.

The battles between Shino and Seilin; Julin, Kalin, and Sanji are still continuing. The sisters are suddenly filled with energy from the mountain and Kalin possesses a sword. As Sanji's attacks increase, Julin finally accomplishes a full- body Shaolin Stone Fist. The girls are victorious but only Seilin keeps the power gifted from the mountain.

Drake, possessed by the mountain, takes the girls into Bai Wang's mind so they can learn the truth of their pasts. The girls learn about their mothers and father, but there is a huge surprise you would never expect! Since Bai Wang is withing in the mountain, she gifted the White Lotus Clan with the same power the girls received. The girls and the clan fight again but the sisters' powers are fading. Bai Wang also criticizes and helps them in their fighting forms.

As the final installment, I'm over- joyed that the girls get closure and a sense of family. The sisters learn that truth about their father ans some additional information about their mothers. In order to win the battle, the girls had to fight together, which meant that Seilin admitted she is related tp Kalin and Julin. As usual, the art quality was great and the dialogue is mediocre, but it's not always about the sentences.

The Misumi sisters, Julin and Kalin, have met their eldest sister Seilin. Seilin challenges the sisters to fight her to prove that they are her sisters. Julin takes up the offer and fights her, using her new found ability of the Shaolin Ston Fist. While they fight, Seilin critiques Julin's fighting ability, bringing up raw emotions about her sensei Master Yoh and her friend Kio. When seilin goes to give the final strike, her companion Shark intervenes and saves Julin's life. However, Seilin will not give up. The eldest sister tells of her childhood and how she became a pirate captain... about her mother, Ryu (their father), and her relationship with Shark.

Bai Wang, leader of the White Lotus Clan, arrives at the scene in order to steal the bells from the sisters. A battle begins between Bai Wang and Julin but is cut short by the appearance of a mysterious man, Drake. He claims that the bells are his to own and that he will claim them. After he easily steals Kalin and Julin's bells, he fights Seilin for hers but then turns his aggression to Bai Wang when he retrieves Seilin's bell. The two battle it out, Bai Wang retrieves Julin's bell, and Drake destroys Seilin's ship in the process. All of them get away safely but now a search begins to find their bells and Bai Wang... and Drake, but where Bai Wang is, Drake will be there too...

This volume was more serious than the first one. There was a very personal scene about Seilin's past that was both horrifying and sad. Most of the volume is spent fighting and destroying... as well as setting up for the next book.

The second series in the collection about these sisters.

We first meet Julin Misumi, a school girl at Fighting Fang Hall. It is Julin's fifteenth birthday and her sensei, Master Yoh, presents her with a bell as a present then sends her to the city with her friend Kio as punishment for being late to class. While they are gone, the Hall is attacked the White Lotus Clan, who are seeking the Secret of Shaolin... the power to rule the world! Bai Wang is the leader of the group and she seeks to gain that power. Julin hears about the attack and rushed to the Hall to help those who had fallen. Having had trouble using her Shaolin Stone Fist, her doubts about her fighting skill were high, but she managed to use it!

However, she was not fast enough to save some of her comrades and her sensei. Master Yoh's final wish for Julin was to find her sisters, who also had bells similar to hers.

During the battle between Julin and some of the White Lotus Clan, Julin had been in peril and Kio had saved her. But, in doing so, had fallen off a cliff. Julin could not find any trace of him but his headband and she set off in search of her sisters with this heavy burden.

Julin first searches for one of her sisters at the Four Kings Gold Pavilion. As soon as she arrives, the White Lotus Clan shows up and challenges the Four Warriors of the Pavilion, one of which is Kalin, Julin's older sister.

With the advice of Kalin's sensei, Master Koh, they go in search of their final sister, Seilin, the eldest of them. They also learn of their father, Ryu, who had a strange past with the girls' separate mothers.

They find Seilin, who is a pirate captain, but she refuses to believe that she is related to the two girls and challenges them. Kalin accepts and the two begin to battle, but Kalin is quickly knocked down and is almost finished off by Seilin, who is fighting to kill. However, Julin intercepts and the battle is fought between her and Seilin.

This volume was quirky and funny! I had read Shaolin Sisters: Reborn first and this series gave more information for me to work on and moved very quickly.

The final volume of the Shaolin Sisters: Reborn series... which is the finale of this particular collection of series.

The final battle between the sisters (Kalin, Julin, and Seilin) and Bai Wang. The family from China (Shouko, Shouryuu, and Shouhou Lin) also work with the sisters to retrieve their bells.

The sisters lose their bells to Bai Wang and a mysterious light begins to appear and grow larger as Bai Wang captures each bell. The Lin siblings rush to help the sisters in order to spare them some time by leaping in the light orb, where they are absorbed because darkness cannot exist in light.

Distraught, the sisters fight harder in order to win. In the end, it seems that they have failed and that their destiny may have been to witness the destruction of the world. However, they choose to fight regardless... read to find out if they succeed!

I thought it was a saddening end to the series because of the deaths that occurred (All of the White Lotus Clan but Bai Wang, Drake, Shiina, etc...) and the end was a little sad too. It did seem a little rushed but I thought it worked out okay.
