This book introduces Abel and Adam Lee. How they returned from the Civil War battlefields to their family murdered, their home destroyed. How they became Will Cannon and his brother Joe Cannon and bought their ranch. It is in this book that Will Cannon calls himself a bounty hunter. I think this may be the first book of this cowboy series, it is a little difficult to be sure because several titles are labeled number 1).

Old time moral values. The characters are likable and the flow and pacing led into and kept me in the story. Good read.… (plus d'informations)

Joe Cannon, and some of the cowboys from the Mora River Ranch have taken a string of horses to Silver City to have a horse auction there. When Joe and his men don't return on time, Will Cannon rides the trail alone to the silver mining camps around Silver City. Will won’t leave until he finds his brother.

Old time moral values. I would have said that cowboy stories were not my thing, but I did enjoy this tale. The characters are likable and the flow and pacing led into and kept me in the story. For me this was a great escape from the everyday world I live in today.… (plus d'informations)

A man seeking revenge for a gang of criminals killing his family goes to Durango, Colorado in search of the Blackman gang. He has heard that criminals are preying on and killing gold miners in Cold Water Canyon. Upon his arrival he acts as the peace office of the mining claims, collecting bounties on the killers he confronts.

I would have said that cowboy stories were not my thing, but I did enjoy this tale. However, there are many are many typos and spelling errors; this book could use a good editor.

But the characters are likable and the flow of the story led me past the many mistakes. For me this was a great escape from the everyday world I live in.

The bodies of two young females are found in a pasture behind a rest stop off the interstate. Sheriff Harley Bowman works with and leads other law enforcement officers to track down the killer.

The bare bones of a story are here but it is buried in typos and format errors. It seems the writer took a short story and tried to stretch it to novella length, unfortunately he never made it a mystery only a narrative. I gave him an extra 1/2 star because the story and the characters had potential and I was interested enough to read to the end.… (plus d'informations)
