This is a feelgood book that can be read pretty quickly. Aimed mostly at children but with a sly humour at times and an adult feel at times, e.g. when the little horse reflects on his mortality. I love the little drawings which cover the pages too. Something to dip into if you are feeling a bit low I reckon, as it's funny, silly and heartwarming. Would love a tiny blue horse myself!

Read this fictional journal piecemeal. I'm a big fan of Harry Hill but small doses was the way forward. Now I know I'm going to miss those lighthearted interludes.

It's a bit dated now and clearly not a work of great literature but some amusing storylines such as Harry's Nan who retired to Najaf. I wonder if the dog is still in Goa.

Quirky little illustrations and even an amusing cover. Gave me laughs. Well worth the £1.

I've had a letter from regular reviewer, Bunty Hoven, which says... sorry I can't quite get it... that's right, Stouffer, you help... there we go! It says, "I love Harry Hill, but this was not his finest hour. Out of respect, I've rounded my 2.5* rating up to 3* instead of down to 2*." Interesting, because I would usually round down instead of up - you've got to have a system!

Well, I'm sorry, Mr Harry, but it looks like the Badger Parade's off. You coming for a glass of chop juice?

Surreal; rather laboriously so in places. Moderately funny; less so than he is on the telly. Which applies to a lot of comedians and their books. They will do it.
