This is the first book that I have read for gifted students. I am the advisor for a student leadership club in the school where I teach. I thought I would be able to use some of the lessons for them. I liked the lessons, but I would tweak the wording on some to fit my needs. Instead of being lessons for “gifted students”, I would like to change them to “student leaders.” There are some great ideas to use in addition to the regular curriculum! Thank you LibraryThing for this book!

An interesting book with many useful suggestions for teachers or home-schoolers. As developing emotional intellegence is important any help we can get or offer for our children is important.

This is a great workbook to help guide gifted students through their emotions and to help understand their gifts. However, most of the activities seem time consuming. The regular curriculum, especially for gifted students, will not allow for many of these activities to take place.

This book is good for students who are homeschooled and may want extra help for creativity, social growth, i requested it for my little brother (Who's now in 6th grade) but it's still a little extra help. As i said it can allow students who are homeschooled to get help with creativity and social growth.
