Um, wow. Go smacked by this. Unexpected yet believable (in its own way) and engrossing far more than the cover & previous reviews led me to believe

Well... That was dark. It was very well done, and I loved the themes throughout, but it was very dark. And definitely not at all like the Disney show. I actually liked the show better.

I think this lived up to the hype. It's a weird and risky consent that pays off. The writing will leave you thinking and the art is gorgeous with fascinating details. Don't tell Squirrel Girl, but I'd say it is the best Marvel book I've read this year.

Behold the visions. They're the family next door, yet they harness the power to destroy the world. What could go wrong?

This is one of the best Marvel series of the past 10 years for a reason. Tom King’s Vision is literary sci-fi, and it's dark and satirical. It's suburban horror. It's also a heartbreaking drama that contains sharp commentary on race and humanity, life and death, but in a Marvel super hero comic. In terms of themes, it reminded me of God Loves, Man Kills or Jordan Peele's Get Out.

It's extraordinary.

I'm looking forward to reading volume 2.
