Although I finished this in one day, I decided to take a few days to see if I could write a review without spoilers. I don't think I can so all I'm going to say is that I really enjoyed reading this and although Lauren is a problematic character, she is also very thought provoking and her story arc is written incredibly well and felt very realistic. There is anger in this story, and pain and heartache, but also love, friendship and forgiveness. I can't wait to give this book to people.

Mmmmm. I hope every girl reading this reads to the very end of this book so they are given the RIGHT message about food and body image - not the distorted one that Annabel the ghost projects for three quarters of the novel. Basically Annabel has died and must shadow a girl called Julia to help her. Annabel thinks she is there to whisper messages in Julia's ear about losing weight and not being fat. She sees her friendships and her crushes and eventually starts to care deeply for Julia. (She can hear her thoughts and realizes something terrible has happened to her to make her use food as a crutch.… (plus d'informations)

In this Irish YA novel, Emily is seventeen, can't muster much interest in school, has a group of close friends with some of whom the lines between friendship and something more are a bit blurred, and doesn't really know what she wants in life.

Excellent teen fiction read. Claire Hennessy is only 17 and is going to be a force to be reckoned with in the future.

Stereotype is about a girl in transition year (16/17) learning about life and love and trying to find where she fits in. She also has to deal with the fact that she cuts herself sometimes.
