Honolulu police officer, Katrina Ogden, known at work as KO, runs the Records and ID Department, along with her chief clerk, Selena Wade. During a huge disruption at the police station where the entire building is moving into a new downtown headquarters, she receives a series of bizarre emails and it looks like her identity has been stolen. Soon her “admirer” starts sending corpses to her as a gift. Soon she realizes she has a stalker and he knows quite a bit about her. Eventually we will find out who the murderer is but by that time I had little interest in this story. It was boring and seemed to be written by a teenager. I noticed there are a few others in the series and I'm convinced it's only because Ms. Heckman's parents are owners of a vanity press. I forced myself to finish this for the “See the USA in 2014” Hawaii book but I can't recommend it to anyone.

I would have enjoyed this story more if it had had a more interesting plot. I don't care to read one more mystery about serial killer of women. That is so unoriginal and it's been done to death. The saving grace about this story is that it took place in Hawaii. The main protagonist did get a hint after you hit her over the head with it about three times so she may get better with time.
