Rommel's War in Africa par Wolf Hechmann

Part of the 4 book set. This book really is a interesting portrayal of Rommel. Heckmann is a German and felt it was necessary to give a balanced story on Rommel in Africa. Great leader, but not the figure that the Nazi propped up and made a legend. He was humble, but also a bit disorgnaized. He was a true fighting general.

This is a four book set, hardcovers and is some pretty serious reading. I will cover the individual books in separate listings. This is stunning addition to any library. I had to upload the cover file.
