Nara and her father move to London and in with his sister Sue, a nurse who has recently purchased a wonderful & very old bed and breakfast where Nara & her father will live and where Nara will now help her aunt run.
Strange things are happening though in her new home, break-ins, strange noises and odd people lurking around. What is it that someone might want with her aunts old B&B? Nara's aunt insists that there is nothing of value among the many trinkets and knick knacks found in and around the converted old gate house but, with some sleuthing and curiosity Nara finds that there are indeed some art treasures hidden around the old place, and that she is not the only one who intends to do some investigative sleuthing.
Alex Collier, handsome & charming curator of British antiquities who frequently works undercover for the police is also on the case of the rash of burglaries and break-ins concerning the trafficking of artifacts excavated from many historic churches & sites within this small English Midlands town including aunt Sue’s B&B that Nara has now started to call home and together Alex and Nara help crack the case with some mishaps and romance along the way.
I was delightfully surprised by the many charming characters and story lines of this book and will be awaiting the next one.… (plus d'informations)
