A nice assortment of recipes with short stories to accompany each. A good book for basic cooking.
1st ed w/DW. Cute illustrations. Italian & American family tales with recipes.
This is one of my favorite, and most-used cookbooks. An A-Z of fresh vegetables offering succinct info about nutritional value and basic preparation, with a couple of interesting recipes for each.
A fun read, more about the story of a woman's Italian family and their cooking. There are some recipes though.
