Diana L. Hayes is professor emerita of systematic theology at Georgetown University. She is the author of several books including (with Cyprian Davis) Taking Down Our Harps: Black Catholics in the United States; Were You There?: Station of the Cross; Forced in the Fiery Furnace: African American afficher plus Spirituality; and Standing in the Shoes My Mother Made Me.
