Bobbie Louise Hawkins (1930–2018)

Bobbie Louise Hawkins was born in Abilene, Texas on July 11, 1930. She wrote more than 20 books of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and impressionist monologues including A Moral Tale, 15 Poems, Back to Texas, Almost Everything, One Small Saga, and My Own Alphabet. She toured as Three Women with folk afficher plus singer Rosalie Sorrels and the singer and guitarist Terry Garthwaite.
