Review: : This book was set to the rhythm of “10 little monkeys jumping on the bed” and every page turn there is a new breed of dogs jumping on a bed, playing on a truck, in the rodeo, and so much more. Also, with every page turn the number of dogs gets smaller and smaller until the mailman sees no more dogs.

Personal Reaction: I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun for me and I know it will be fun for kids to read especially with the googly eyes animation part to the book. I picked this book out because I love dogs so that instantly attracted me to the book.

Extension: I would use this book in the classroom, for a younger group, to demonstrate how to count backwards using illustrations. Also, I think this book would be good to learn how to hear rhymes and teach the kids how to notice them, either by reading or hearing, in a book.… (plus d'informations)
