Self-serving political piece that tries to 'splain how Trump was mistreated and misunderstood
I generally dislike politicians and books by them, but this was a refreshing break. Haley seems honest, competent, and communicates clearly. I disagree with her on a lot of issues, but she did a good job in SC and at the UN and hopefully there will be more from her in 2024 .
Mostly focused on her professional life, which wasn't that educational. I personally would have preferred to know how she even got to the position of Governor of South Carolina. She had some good insights on how important it is to establish a clear chain of command. If she was under another agency when she was an ambassador for the UN, she wouldn't have been able to make much of an impact.
The rest of the book was more informative and give her perspective on how dysfunctional the UN is, the situation in many refugee camps around the world, how Trump's cabinet worked to undermine him, etc.… (plus d'informations)
