Arturo is a 16 year old boy who is a survivor. He and his sister are orphans who are managing to survive in an uncaring dystopian world. He is the leader of a group of other kids. Because of his leadership and perceived lack of fear he is recruited by a renegade/terrorist group. I found the premise intriguing and enjoyed the story when Arturo was the brash, braggert teenager. But when this consuming rage takes over I kept wondering what else was this kid. I enjoyed the story to a certain extent but felt there were too many possible storylines.
