A little girl moves from the city to the country and thinks it's very boring until meeting a friend!

This book is cute! It is one of many in this series that shows the adventures of a beautiful friendship between Iris and Walter. It also shows the connection between Iris and her family. I like how it is a chapter book and is therefore good for beginning readers. This book doesn't have much of a lesson to teach kids.

This would be a great book for an only child or a child struggling to understand why there are rules. The main character thinks she can do whatever she want but in return gets in trouble. She then gets a puppy and learns that rules are good and meant to be followed so things aren't too wild. Ages 3-6 Pierce County Library
