This is an updated and re-titled version of Into the Minds of Babes which was published in 2007. The author has carefully researched her topic, performing some interviews herself and citing a wide range of studies on the topic of media usage with young children -- everything from TV to tablets. It's a thorough and balanced approach, and the author's conclusion is that parents and caregivers should consider the content, context, and needs of the individual child when considering how much screen time, and of what sort, is appropriate.
