This story is absolutely fun and adorable when a few girls learn what it takes to hatch a few eggs into chicks. Each new chapter builds excitement and few of life's lessons are taught along the way by life on the farm. Some very nice illustrations go along with the story as well. I highly recommend this book for any middle grader. A fantastic kindle freebie find.
Crops on the Farm by Daisy Griffin
Illustrated children's colorful book showing what happens on a farm. Starts out with a farmer on his tractor as he plows his land.
His tractor prepares the soil and then plants the seeds. Sun and water will help the seeds grown into crops. Pictures shown in various stages
are sunflowers, corn, broccoli and cabbage, watermelons and peas, purple hull peas, pumpkins to eat and decorate for Halloween.
At the end are a sample of the author's other works.
