I want to be Olga. Mr. Grierson really shows off her joie de vie as he undertakes the task of finding out what has kept Olga so sharp and fast in her old age. I really liked how Mr. Grierson intermixed Olga stories with the science. He did it in a way that was easy to follow.

Talk about squeezing blood from a stone - but it's done very well here. It's quite clear from the expanse of this in-depth exploration that the entire test group under discussion is a grand total of one person, who is almost certainly unique. Nevertheless, much can be learned and gleaned, especially the all-important final anaylsis, which the author summarizes at the end, but I can encapsulate even further, which I will do - despite the spoiler nature - because it's important to know, now, before you even read the book - in contravention of the annoyance I experience when news teasers ask you to come back at 11:30 to give you information about a hazard - I need the information now! - as follows: get up off your ass, with friends, and cop a good attitude.… (plus d'informations)

This woman started exercising (started track) at 77, after being retired as a teacher for 12 years, and this book is inspiring/motivating/scaring me to start exercising again. After extensive research, it was found that exercise is the MAIN ingredient in living a long life and for health! And not exercising is very detrimental to your life span. I will review the book once I finish it. It's a MUST READ for ALL WOMEN!!

December 8, 2014:
I finished the book and IMMEDIATELY went back and started reading it again! I think I'll probably have to buy the book, as I have it from the library. It is the BEST non-fiction book I've read in 2014, so far. Again, I highly encourage EVERYONE to read it; it's not just for or about women. And there's too much information in the book to tell you what, specifically, you need to do to promote longevity and good health. It's all good information and very doable. I especially liked the chapter on Personality.… (plus d'informations)
