Terrific biography, very detailed. It gave more insight to the great man and proved that he was human.

Good overview of urbanism through the lens of transit. I liked that he gives sone commentary on the class/race/political issues surrounding development and transit.

After some initial confusion [I thought this was a romantic novel but it’s a true romance] Shanghai Grand developed into one of the most intoxicating books to come my way for years.
