Courte biographie
LB Gregg began writing in the spring of 2008 at the encouragement of author pal, Josh Lanyon. She never once looked back (although occasionally she looked down and tripped over her own feet). 2009 saw the publication of her best selling Men of Smithfield series.

LB lives in the Connecticut hills with two lazy dogs, three above-average children, and a smoking hot husband who, thank the good Lord, loves to cook.

Wow. I loved this book from the first word to the last. An engaging first-person voice, beautiful writing, and fabulous characters made this one a real winner for me. I loved the way the author incorporated the holiday season into the plot, as opposed to just using it as a backdrop. Great, great book. (A )

Rest and Be Thankful by Joanna Chambers - 4 stars
The discouragement that Cam feels is very well achieved, same as Rob's muffled sadness.

Out by Harper Fox - 3, 5 stars
It's a little hard to get involved in the story but toward the ending you realize that it have a deeply poetical undertone. The end is marvelous.

Waiting for Winter by L.B. Gregg - 2,5 stars
Win was an unforgivable dick, and he's not a child; hence I found difficult believing his attitude change.

Baby, it’s Cold by Josh Lanyon - 2 stars
A total meh

This is a shorter work, and in some ways, it felt rushed. I enjoyed the writing style and the characters. But the pacing felt like it was missing some steps. it was good, but it could have been better, like a song you like, on a record that skips.
