My absolute favorite dragon anthology ever. I read it in HS and it left a profound impact on me. My favorite story was 'Lethal Perspective'- which surrounds a council of dragons discussing their accomplishments of chaos to be judged to win a trophy but one dragon in particular has a very powerful story indeed that will stick with the reader for a lifetime.

I found most of the stories to be entertaining though and you have a range from well-written fantasy to more comedic, light hearted approaches. Each story though offers a new take on an old favorite: the dragon. This is somewhat of a rare book, but if you find it or want to request it from your local library then I cannot recommend it enough.… (plus d'informations)

I've been looking for this anthology for the longest time! The very first story in this book is "Stolen Silver" by Mercedes Lackey and in this story we see Alberich being rescued by his Companion, Taver, and him realizing that he's been Chosen. I absolutely ADORE Lackey's style of writing; in just 14 pages she manages to introduce a character you're dying to know more about and his Companion who has traveled to a rather dangerous region in order to get him. If you're a fan of Lackey's Valdemar series, I would strongly suggest "Stolen Silver" and the other two books in Alberich's tale, "Exile's Honor" and "Exile's Valor", as must-reads.… (plus d'informations)

This is an anthology of short stories with themes centered around, you guessed it, Vampires falling in love. The book was exclusive to Barnes and Noble. I have to say that all of the stories were very well written and each story was complete in its own right. I have read short stories in anthology novels that were part of larger series. Some of these stories can lack background content to the reader to make them understandable. This was not the case with this anthology. The few stories that were connected to larger series were sufficient in plot design.

If you haven't read other anthologies in the vampire or paranormal world, this is a nice choice. I personally have read several anthologies and this one contains at least 4 stories that are in other such copulations, which was rather disappointing for me. That finding a side, I enjoyed all the stories as pleasant tales of love, some more than others, and found this a pleasant read.… (plus d'informations)
