- Professor Graham has been a member of the Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences since 1973 and holds a joint appointment in NELC and the Study of Religion. He served as Dean of Harvard Divinity School from 2002-2012. He has also served as director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, Master of Currier House, and chair of NELC, the Committee on Middle Eastern Studies, and the Core Curriculum Committee on Foreign Cultures. He is former chair of the Council on Graduate Studies in Religion (U.S. and Canada).

Of my hadith quartet, this is the one I'd have been most likely to read and enjoy on my own time - a fascinating excursion into the exact nature of the "divinely derived iterability" that my paper terms "awesomeness," and so a partial enabler of my eagerly seized chance to describe speech phenomena in lexical-semantic terms as [±AWESOME], and so thank you for that, William Graham. It's kind of a specialist text, both in terms of presumed knowledge and because not everyone is going to have the patience to slog through a study this length, not just on hadith, but on hadith qudsi specifically - but if it's the kind of thing that turns your crank, then said crank will probably not leave unturned.… (plus d'informations)
