Good Egg Productions - Courte biographie
- Lisa graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University. She is a member of Selah, a national network of Jewish social justice leaders. She became a documentary filmmaker because she believes in the power of film to affect social change. She is the President of Good Egg Productions, Inc, a New York City-based production company. Her first film, The Children of Chabannes (1999), made with Dean Wetherell, won an Emmy Award and 10 film festival awards. The film was inspired by her father Peter Gossels and uncle Werner, who were two of the refugee children sheltered by the people of the French town of Chabannes during the Holocaust. Her second film, My So-Called Enemy (2010), won a CINE Golden Eagle and five film festival awards. She was honored as "Someone to Watch" at the 2011 Cleveland International Film Festival. In 2022, she was named artistic director of Boston Jewish Film.
