Ms. Gold spun a beautiful, uncomplicated and satisfying story here. Quinn Delaney grew up primarily in foster homes where he never learned the self-confidence and social graces that most of us pick up in our home lives. Standing at 6' 6" and being made fun of did not help Quinn's self-esteem either. Quinn's foster sister Stephanie is a travel agent who over books a singles' trip to Disney World and nags Quinn into going. Josh Hart is an out-going guy who was dumped by his boyfriend a month ago but Stephanie manages to book him on the singles' vacation. Quinn is sure that he is going to have a terrible time and Josh keeps getting hit on by all the wrong guys but things turn round as soon as the two men spend some time together. I really liked both Quinn and Josh each with their own insecurities and hang ups. Living near Orlando, I don't think of Disney World as a great vacation spot but it worked well for Josh and Quinn because of all the distractions that filled in awkward times. The plot flowed well and was a very straightforward romance story with no angst or arguments. Both men seem very vanilla so even the sex was smooth flowing yet exciting to them. If you are looking for a sweet, feel good romance story, this is the book for you.… (plus d'informations)

Quinn’s Hart is told in third person through the eyes of Quinn Delaney an engineer who happens to be very shy because of his height and the fact he’s large, and Jason Hart, a pediatrician.

Quinn’s Hart is the story of Quinn who goes on a single’s matchmaking trip to Disneyland at the urging of his friend Stephanie. There he meets other gay singles, some nice and some not so nice. There is one guy that catches his attention, Jason Hart, but Quinn is sure that he has nothing to offer Jason. Jason is very friendly and decides he wants to get to know Quinn better and so they start to hang out together during the singles vacation. There’s some interference from two other obnoxious singles and an appearance of a catty ex-boyfriend, but mostly this story is very low-keyed. I would say the story has no angst.

The story takes place at Disney World/Epcot Center and the guys go on rides, sightsee and shop as they get to know each other. I liked the idea of the story taking place in one location and it didn’t need a lot of mystery or action and adventure to move the story along. This was character driven which is the kind of story I enjoy. On the other hand, because Quinn is such a shy, introverted character, I found the story moved along slowly which I didn’t enjoy.

The romance part of story is a very slow buildup that has to do with dating and getting to know each other first before heading to bed. It reminds me more of vanilla sex compared to the instant-love and more energetic/enthusiastic sex in many of the other stories I've read. There's nothing wrong with it, but I think it tended to make the story appear slow and a bit on the boring side even though it was realistic.

There were however a couple phrases that I thought could have been eliminated because they came across as awkward to read. The terms were "bigger man" and "smaller man." They were used often enough that they made me go "huh?" Their usage made me stop reading and my mind would start to wonder why those terms were used when something else like "he" or the character's name would have worked much better and not disrupt the flow of the story.

If you’re looking for a stress-free, fluffy, fast read then this is the book for you. I give Quinn’s Hart, 3 Stars

May to December romance.
Low angst story. For the huge age gap I expected more external conflict but almost all conflict came from Vinnie.
Mostly sweet with little conflict.

The institute in question is a safe place for 'talented' individuals. Tristan is a healer and Cam is a shapeshifter. For some reason every time I saw this title on my Kindle I envisaged a completely different type of story.
Great read.
