I want to rock!!! This book was such a trip for me. If you want to go back or read about the 90s this book is for you! 90s grunge rock was such a big deal and in this book, the chapter titles are 90s songs. Each chapter I had to listen to each song and jam out!

Coming of age story about a 16 girl named Nico. She is going through an emotional roller coaster because her sister died and her ‘rents are now getting a divorce. She decides to run away and complete her bucket list of things she has wanted to do.

The year is 1994 and alternative music was all the rage. Nico is on summer break and she and the band are on tour in Las Vegas. A music producer notices her and Grouch Records made them an offer for their first song that Nico wrote about her dead sister. The record went up to #9 in the charts! They were stars, however things get complicated when the band members don’t see eye to eye.
This is the second book in the series and the way it was left, I think there will be a book 3 and I can’t wait to see if Nico can make it big on her own.… (plus d'informations)

This was my 4th book written by Goldberg and his writing fills me with joy, even under darker elements. I enjoy the time period of the late 70’s and he injects a ton of nostalgia at every chance.
Imagine being so rich that even if you tried to give all your money away, you would still have more money tomorrow. Those are the people the Desire Card seek out and they will make whatever they wish come true. You can imagine this can become a seedy business relatively quick.
A smash up of Point Break and The Godfather, don’t miss this gritty twisted web of desire.

Wyatt Barlow wakes up in April 2020 with nothing more than a mirror and a journal with the date 1898. After walking through the iceness of the Alaskan wildness, he comes across two young men hunting. One of the young men looks eerily similar to him. Wyatt soon realizes that the young man hunting was his Great-Great Grandson Travis Barlow.
The two strike up a friendship where Wyatt begins to think of his wife and young child, he left to pursue gold in Alaska. Wyatt then convinces Travis to head to a cave where long lost gold is hidden. There the men will discovered the gold, but with a price.

I received an advance review copy for free from Booksirens, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
