I thought this story was very good. I liked how the illustrations showed emotion and I also liked the plot of the story.
The illustrations in Disney’s adaptation of Pocahontas were outstanding. Whenever there was a dramatic scene, the illustrations showed it. For example, when Kocoum carried the young solider that was shot, their faces showed agony from being shot and from having to carry a man on his shoulders. Emotion was also evident in the scene when Jon Smith charged after by Kocoum after kissing Pocahontas. Both men look to be screaming as Jon Smith is being tackled and Pocahontas is trying to stop them.
The plot of the story had a very strong climax. The story started off by giving the necessary introduction material and then stated the conflict of the soldiers, which added suspense. It then climaxed at Jon Smith being captured to be killed and then concluding with Pocahontas saving him.
The main lesson that this story gave off is to fallow your own path in life. Pocahontas was being told to marry another man that she did not want to marry. She fallowed her own heart and path that she wanted by fighting for Jon Smith.… (plus d'informations)
