A well written and suspenseful story about the Titanic and the few passengers involved.
Since we already know what happened with the ship back in 1912, the suspense was growing. The author's recreation of this time and introduction to the leading characters, was masterfully plotted. So much so, that you cannot help but to get on board without fear of drowning.
Though I did not understand the New Atlantis angle very well, I still could enjoy the buildup. Maybe this was explained thoroughly in the previous books of the series but for this one, the uncertainty created more tension; in a good way.
Each character's backstory was introduced to us with so much care that I really connected with each one on their quest to survive the life they had. Each had a reason that drove them to a spot on the ship which created the illusion even further. And the plot thickened.
The love between Max and Eilish was the highlight of the story. When two people connect in such a way you cannot argue with destiny. Even though the one came from the future. Their ability to adapt and love without restraint a marvel to behold.
Lizzie's story tugged the heart, Marco had so much to gain, Pia's story relatable, Max's was caught in a selfish marriage... each part vital to the success of the plot.
Really an enjoyable read from beginning to end.

The sixth book in the “New Atlantis Time Travel Romance” series by Nhys Glover won the SFR Galaxy Award in 2013, and for good reason. One of the judges said: “Heroism and true romance set inside one of the most heart-rending tragedies of all time? Oh, yeah, that deserves an Award!”. However, those who haven’t read the first five books in the author’s series, should know that they are all standalones, so they can start with whichever they like. “The Titan Drowns” is a perfect start, especially since it is permanently free on Amazon.

The premise of this time travel romance novel is absolutely brilliant: a team of people who want to make a change in the world travel back to the past, on the Titanic, and their goal is to save all children by bringing them to the future. The three members of the rescue team couldn’t have been more different: Pia Rogaland is shy, insecure, and her only desire is to save the children, Elish Cork is feisty and loves adventures, and Karl Ontario is a lab geek who would rather spend the rest of his life in his medical facility. The fact that they are nothing alike makes them work together so well.

Their mission is by no means an easy one. Aside from the fact that they need to first identify the suitable targets, they also have to come up with a good explanation for their insane attempt of taking them to the future. It’s difficult to convince so many people that the unsinkable Titanic is nothing but a tragedy waiting to happen. Things get even more complicated when Pia falls in love with a man she is not allowed to save. Their romantic relationship plays out in a few, fateful days, and the fact that they are so perfect for each other makes the inevitable separation even more heart-breaking. What was supposed to be a rescue mission might turn into a death sentence for everyone involved.

Even though there have been so many books written on the Titanic theme, author Nhys Glover manages to bring something new and fresh to her story. Certainly, the best part is the romance, and fans of this genre will immediately fall in love with Pia and her lover from the past. There’s nothing more compelling in a novel than an impossible love story, and Nhys Glover has managed to take this theme to a whole new level. Readers will root for the characters and hope that a miracle will allow them to avoid the tragedy, and live happily ever after.

“The Titan Drowns” is one of those books which readers will want to reread and recommend to family and friends. It is one of a kind, and it is permanently free on Amazon, so don’t forget to download your copy.

Find it on Amazon.

"How did I live before you?" His voice was low, soft and velvet
"You didn't,you were dead, remember" Cassie said as she held him
"In more ways than the one",

"How can someone invisible be so solid and strong?"

"Now I feel alive again, and with that becomes fear, I fear for you, Cassie, and that's what's killing me."
"Not possible, you're already dead" Cassie smiled cheekily!"

I absolutely love this book. Such an easy read. The characters come alive....I can't wait to see what happens next.

I found it to be very sad in parts, quite emotional and then all of a sudden Hawk; Cassies Hero, does something and you start laughing like anything. The sex scenes makes it quite a raunchy book...but not OTT, thankfully.

I would highly recommend this book, I just love stories like this. It's more of a romantic story - not Mills & Boons, but it is a love story with a twist.

When I recommended this book to my friend, I thought it was going to be mainly about Hawk, about his life as a fighter pilot who was polish from the 1940s before he died in 1944.........Hawk stayed on earth to save her.....as Cassie was diagnosed of cancer,
all of a sudden the year is 2013....

Nhys Glover, the author of this book, is an amazing lady who actually managed to overcome breast cancer herself and she is so down to earth an inspiration to us all

Review:

Nine Lives" By Nhys Glover was a intriguing exciting time travel romance that is the first in its series, New Atlantic. What a world ... from this science fiction read we find a real twist on this 'time travel and post apocalyptic living.' This author really worked her magic with the hot sex with this science fiction read. The future world scenarios that were worked into the story really had me turning the pages in the well written read to see what was coming next.

In the story we find a man(Jac) offers a lady(Cara) "a chance at a new life in his future Utopian world." What does she do? By accepting she will "open herself up to a passionate new love in an unimaginable new world, where clones extend lifespans, and time travel is used to repopulate a decimated human population."

Well, this story really get interesting because in the end will Jac be "willing to change to keep his loving, beautiful woman in his life because Cara is a "free thinking individual?" Now, how will this work out? To find out all of the answers to these questions you will have to pick up "Nine Lives" to see what all this author has in store for the reader.

I enjoyed this time travel romance series and this read will only leave you wanting the next series. Would I recommend? YES!
