Florence must create a family tree for school but her parents divorced and remarried, and now her father and his second spouse divorced and both remarried. She considers herself to have six parents and lots of siblings. While I appreciate this book is for young readers and that many people want to trace the step-relationships, the book never clarified the ancestral relationship. It's a cute book about a school assignment, but it is not one I'd give to a budding genealogist. The subject material seemed a little advanced for picture books.
