The village which Richard is living is surrounded by wall and outside is forest.
It has a tradition that when children become 12 years old, they have to go to forest and survive.
Richard is 12years,so he starts to live as a member of deer with one deer family.
Richard doesn't like his both family(human-being and deer).
But he gradually love deer and survival life...

At first i don't like his character because he is selfish and make a fool of others.
The scene that they run away from hunters gives me a much thrill.
I realized a life in the nature is severe and deadly thing.

This book is a kind of SF.
The story is likely.
People look back the past and stop rich life and using energy.
And children have to experience sharing...
Through this book, we can realize sharing.
but,it is too simple.
I want more unexpected story line.

In this world, children have to adventure when they are 12 years old.
Richard, he is main character of this story, do not want to trip because the trial is strange.
When it starts, children reborn as animals, like deer...

This story is terrible for me.
At first I cannot understand that why children live as animal.
But ending of this story, I impressed by his action.

This is a story of future. The heroine of this story lives on a star called "Home".The earth we live on now have become for animals to live.So all animals died out and humans live other planets. But heroine find a star where animals live and she try to make animals live with humans.

This story is non-fiction.But I think this world is not so far from our future.
