Mary Jemison indian Captive
I remember reading this book when I was in the fourth grade. It is a fiction book about a girl who is taken captive by indians and learns to live as they do. I think the reason I liked it so much was that it showed both the stereotypical view of "indians" that the settlers had, and then showed them as real people as Mary gets to know and care about them.
