This is a fast paced thriller
Main character is Luke Carlton ex special UK forces.
Luke is now all loved up with his Girlfriend Elise.
He is sent to Columbia to find out what happened to his colleague who was killed in action. He nearly dies.
He returns to London then is sent back to Columbia as he is the right man for the job.
He uncovers a very deadly plot by one of the King pin drug dealer Nelson Garcia who has sailed a boat then a small sub up the English channel with a deadly dirty bomb. The bomb is set to disrupt the Remembrance Sunday parade.

Good book this is the 1st in the series, will look out for more.

It’s kind of amazing how Frank Gardener learnt Arabic when no-one in the UK bothered much, became a high powered investment banker and then made the transition to journalism. Then he is nearly killed by AlQueda while filming in Saudi. And comes back from this as a paraplegic and resumes his journalist career. There is so much great about this book. His understanding of the different cultures within theM Middle East; his lack of bitterness about his attack, his account of bring an international journalist ( must admit I skipped the banking bit but I am sure that was great too.). But what impressed me the most was his blow-by-blow story of coming to terms with his disability having been able-bodied.… (plus d'informations)
