The action-packed conclusion to the Submerged Sun Trilogy... Action packed is right. Definitely a page turner series.

There is also a prequel - Compulsion -

In a glittering underwater world, where danger lurks behind beauty and power, seventeen-year-old Miranda Sun must decide between her freedom and the love her heart ultimately yearns for.

While Robbie and the citizens of Marin eagerly await the birth of the first child to have been born in the city of Marin in over twenty years, Miranda and Marko must deal with the pain and heartache of their banishment from the underwater city.

When the bodies of young women begin to wash up on beaches across the globe, their legs mutilated in a telling way, Miranda and Marko become even more desperate to return to Marin.

Because if Damir is back to his evil ways, then Miranda’s sister, Lauren, is in grave danger.

Will Miranda and Marko return to the city in time to save Lauren?

Or is Lauren, and the entire city of Marin, doomed already…

Book 2 continues the story with lots of surprises and anxiously awaiting the final episode.

In a glittering underwater world, where danger lurks behind beauty and power, seventeen-year-old Miranda Sun must decide between her freedom and the love her heart ultimately yearns for.

When Miranda Sun returns to Marin on the eve of her eighteenth birthday, this time of her own free will, she quickly learns that her worst fears have been realized. The glittering underwater city is not as she had left it, nor too is Marko, the young king who has dominated her thoughts and heart for the last twelve months.

To make matters worse, Miranda has not made the journey to Marin alone, and now must contend with not only Marko’s evil brother Damir, but more surprisingly her sister Lauren who has an agenda of her own.

With Marko’s power beginning to wane, and with cracks beginning to show in the domed Utopian city, and veiled danger lurking everywhere, she quickly learns that in this dazzling city full of beautiful people she can trust no one but herself.

Always find underwater settings fascinating. This series is especially interesting and has many original aspects to the setting and plot. Read nonstop, purchased next book and again read nonstop. Have just added third book. There is a prequel, but may not purchase.

In a glittering underwater world, where danger lurks behind beauty and power, seventeen-year-old Miranda Sun must decide between her freedom and the love her heart ultimately yearns for.

While taking a midnight swim in the ocean, Miranda Sun is pulled beneath the surface only to awaken in a glittering underwater city where she is being held captive by an arrogant young king, Marko.

Marko wishes to marry Miranda in order to save his crown from falling into the hands of his sinister brother, Damir, who resides in the dark recesses of the city’s underworld.

But Miranda is desperate to return home and right things with her sister. In order to escape, she spends her captivity concocting elaborate escape plans and forms an alliance with eighteen-year-old Robbie, Marko’s personal guard, in hope of securing her freedom.

Miranda fights the pull of the glittering, beautiful undersea kingdom, her blossoming feelings for the smoldering king and the deep friendship with Robbie. But danger lurks under the glittering water. Miranda quickly discovers that even underwater, people have secrets….dangerous secrets which could cost her all she holds dear.

Push Me, Pull me is an interesting and well-written story about Ruby, a teen girl who is left to pick up the pieces after her mother's suicide. With a dad with a drinking problem, and a little brother to take care of, Ruby doesn't have much time to focus on her own social life, but that changes when the sexy and mysterious Byron comes to town. He appears to have his own secrets and demons to deal with, but the two are attracted to each other, and despite the fact that they both have a lot on their plate, they can't seem to stay away from each other.

I can't say too much without giving away spoilers, but I will say that I'm a major sucker for stories like this. I enjoyed the way Ruby grew and changed throughout the story, especially how she handled her relationships to the various supporting characters, including best-friend Martin, and local eccentric Mrs. Patfield, whom she was a bit closed minded and judgmental toward at first (as a teen naturally would be) but opened up to later.

This was a good book about being open to love and support from others while handling some of life's most brutal challenges. I look forward to checking out more from Vanessa Garden!
