This book lists the major events of the 20th century in note form, chronologically and under the headings politics and culture. Anything that isn't politics is apparently culture - so man landing on the moon, the US banning DDT, Woodstock, the rampage of Charles Manson and the first flight of the 747 were among the major cultural events of 1969.

Still, this is a very minor complaint - lets face it, if you gave every category a heading you wouldn't be able to fit as many facts into such a short book.

The book is pocket size, and is excellent for quickly resolving arguments and answering questions without needing to fire up the Encyclopaedia Brittanica. If I had to play 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire' - this is the book I'd want my phone-a-friend to have handy.… (plus d'informations)
