Welcome back to Willow Springs, Pennsylvania, for a powerful reminder that we're all susceptible to family problems! Author Tracy Fredrychowski is a master at creating characters that we all can relate to, and this is a perfect example of flawed people willing to change. It is an intriguing story of love, acceptance, forgiveness, and finally, redemption. There are references to the first four books in the Amish Women of Lawrence County series, but a first-time reader should have no trouble getting into this story. I enjoyed Allie's Amish Family Miracle and I look forward to the next book in the series.

I received a complimentary copy but there was no obligation for a positive review. These are my own thoughts.

Allie’s Amish Family Miracle is my introduction to The Amish Women of Lawrence County series and while I am jumping right into the middle of this series, I feel like it was the perfect introduction to Lawrence County and its inhabitants.

This story is “a journey of the heart” for Allie as she navigates a new way of life as a young bride in circumstances that are less than ideal, and my heart hurt for her. I spent a lot of time feeling bewildered as I read. I think we’ve all dealt with a Saloma at one time or another in our lives, so the frustration of dealing with someone who is so incredibly stubborn and won’t listen is frustrating to experience and read about.

There are quite a few irons in the fire, with the narration switching from multiple characters, but the story’s message shines through no matter, and it is a powerful truth of forgiveness and coming together in times of hardship and strife. The redemption arc stole the show for me. Seeing a tragedy turn into a blessing is always a sight to behold. It started with conflict and ends with solidarity, acceptance, and love. It doesn’t get much better than that!

*I have reviewed a copy of this book which I received from the author/publisher through JustRead Tours. All views and opinions expressed are completely honest, and my own.

Allie’s Amish Family Miracle by Tracy Fredrychowski is the fifth book in The Amish Women of Lawrence County Series. It can be read as a standalone for those new to the series. I found the story to be easy to read. I enjoyed getting to know Allie, Reuben, and most of the Raber family. There are good life lessons in the story. I liked seeing the characters grow as individuals, couples, and spiritually. Faith is nicely integrated plus there are some good messages. My favorite is that God has a reason for everything that He does. I was a little disappointed with the ending. We do not get to find out something important (and because I am eager to read Savannah’s Amish Ties That Bind. Allie’s Amish Family Miracle is a dramatic tale with a rocky romance, a harmful hurricane, a meddling mother, surprising secrets, and bountiful blessings.… (plus d'informations)

This book totally held my attention throughout. There was lots of great reading to keep me turning the pages. It started out difficult for Allie, a Mennonite young women who loves Reuben, an old order Amish. As Reuben's mother realizes this she tries everything she can think of to sabotage their relationship. For various reasons, Saloma, Reuben's mother, does not treat Allie in a kindly manner. As Allie tries to deal with the bitterness of Saloma, she is never dealt a kind hand. It takes great love and faith to work through the difficult times ahead.
I totally loved this book. It was realistic and doesn't paint a beautiful picture of a completely loving family. Love, trust in God and lots of forgiveness are a strong threads in this book. I received a complimentary copy of this book and all thoughts and opinions are my own.
