Arabic translator assigned to diplomatic circles during the Iran-Iraq War and later during Operation Desert Storm, Lt. Col. Rick Francona USAF describes for the reader what he learned about Iraq and Saudi Arabia. Very little about military women, a couple of pages about the restrictions the Saudi's placed on U.S. servicewomen during Desert Storm, and some mention of Ambassador April Glaspie.
