The Poisoned House par Michael Ford

An easy to digest & entertaining read with some mystery sprinkled here and there. The author struggles with descriptions which are rather dry, and as a result, do not allow me as a reader to re-live the 'haunted' experience or experience the Victorian vibes if you will. This book has no meaning or message, it ends like a Hollywood story and at times the language choice on behalf of the author makes one feel that the whole thing is taking place in the 21-st Century rather than in the Victorian era. If you are looking for a mystery book where you will be wondering till the last page who'd done it - this is not that. The book is very predictable.… (plus d'informations)

I get that there needs to be random NPCs, but they appear so infrequently you end up saying "wha, who?"

The Poisoned House par Michael Ford

A easy smooth read that has plenty of murder, mystery, ghosts, and drama. With a huge plot twist I didn't see coming and a great ending this book was a fun read.
