A Matter of Love and Death par Tobias Wells
Found this one in my moms old collection of books. The book was definitely written in the 60s as it covers some of the “hot topics” of the day. The author did a good job of describing the fashion and cars of the day which brought you back to that era. Aside from a few offensive parts (that weren’t so offensive back then) it was a good read, with great characters! The main characters being a detective recovering from an on duty injury, and a mysterious young woman accused of murder of a couple who took her in as their own.… (plus d'informations)
Detective Severson is investigating the death of Lucilla Rogers. She was found by her children and now her children are missing! Can Severson find the murderer and the kids before it's too late?
There is a good story here hidden by boring writing. There is too much stuff going on and the story seems glossed over. It's also hard to relate to a story wrote pre computer and cell phones.
