It tells the fascinating story of the exploration in sub-Saharan Africa, including the very dramatic explorations of Doctor Livingstone and Henry Stanley. It also sketches the role of Leopold II of Belgium and the evil he perpetrated when he succeeded in obtaining control of the Congo.
