Courte biographie: Jacob Z. Flores lives a double life. During the day, he is a respected college English professor and midlevel administrator. At night and during his summer vacation, he loosens the tie and tosses aside the trendy sports coat to write man-on-man fiction, where the hardass assessor of freshmen-level composition turns his attention to the firm posteriors and other rigid appendages of the characters in his fictional world. Summers in Provincetown, Massachusetts, provide Jacob with inspiration for his fiction. The abundance of barely clothed man flesh and daily debauchery stimulates his personal muse. When he isn't stroking the keyboard, Jacob spends time with his daughter. They both represent a bright blue blip in an otherwise predominantly red swath in south Texas.

Spell Bound (The Warlock Brothers of Havenbridge, #1)

Nicely written with a good flow to the story. I like the separations between the types of magic. Mason and Drake were good together. There was a build up to the next book between the two dark warlocks. Entertaining for a YA book.

When Love Gets Hairy (Provincetown Book 3) par Jacob Z. Flores

I did not like Nino at all. He was totally clueless about life. Teddy was a mess but at least his character was believable. I read the first two books in this series and loved them. This one? Not at all.

When Love Takes Over (Provincetown Book 1) par Jacob Z. Flores

I think both Zack and Van were amazing characters. There were times when I wanted to scream for them to get over their insecurities but that is the sign of a well developed character. Bravo Mr. Flores. I enjoyed the feel of Provincetown. The sex was great and enjoyable to read. Definitely a character driven story and one that made the grade.

Chasing the Sun (Provincetown Book 2) par Jacob Z. Flores

Family, you can't live with them and can't live without them. I believe that Gil underestimated the power of forgiveness and the fact that most people are fine with a gay couple. Tom was a good foil for Gil the same way that Van was for Zack. Thank you Mr. Flores for putting it all out there in this series.
