I can't understand all the negative reviews on this one. 33 and a third are hit and miss but this one was a hit for me. I thought it was a great behind the scenes look at the creation of this album. The book was well structured and I felt a good flow. The only negatives I can say about it is that some of the opinions from unrelated artists were unnecessary/boring and in the Angel Of Death chapter the history of WW2 and Mengele was probably a bit more than needed.

This won't turn on non-believers but a decent summary of the making and the technicalities of the album. The first half of the book is pretty terrible, constantly repeating itself and not saying anything of interest but definitely picks up when it gets to the album itself.

great record, but not great writing about said record. still...."FUCKING SLAYER!!"
