Adult Dark Paranormal Romance Short

Garbled and jumpy. Lacks flow. Very hard to read. The way it is written makes it very confusing as to what is happening and who it is happening to. It tries to make itself dark and scary. If the wording was different and the layout of the story was better, it would have accomplished that. Unfortunately all it does is confuse the heck out of the reader.
I sincerely doubt I will try to read any more in this series. Just trying to read this short gave me a headache.

I have a feeling this author is going to end up in my 'Author Rejected' shelf. This makes the 3rd book of hers I have read.
The story line is interesting, but there are typos/editing errors and a variety of problems throughout.
The most annoying problem in this one is the sentence structure.
Also her descriptions of various actions and scenes are questionable.

Example: 'The hard wood was made soft by his hands.'

It does not make sense. This is a sample of something that happens often in this story.

There is rambling throughout the story.

I have 3 more of her books. I'm going to give them a try. But at this point I don't have high hopes.

1.75 Stars (That's me being nice)

I have so many problems with this story and every story I have read by Kim Faulks.
In fact, I have 2 more of her books on my kindle that I will be deleting without reading them.

Numerous typos and editing errors.
Jumpy and incoherent scenes.
Improper dialogue editing, punctuation and so much more.

I kept trying to read them and find one I really liked because each showed potential for a great story teller.
Unfortunately, none of them showed any improvement.

I gave this one 2 stars because it is not the absolute worse I have read of hers.

The best was 'Bitten: Nova' and I gave it 3 stars by overlooking some of the problems that existed in the story. I plan on editing that review and rating it more accurately.… (plus d'informations)

What it really is, is a Disaster!
The writing is horribly disjointed. Jumbled and chaotic thoughts thrown together that make absolutely no sense.
I am so disappointed. I actually thought I might have somehow gotten a bad copy. So I went through a lot of the reviews on Goodreads and Amazon to see what the lower star reviews said. I came to the conclusion I did not have a bad copy. The book is just that badly written.
I wish I could reach out and slap every person who left 5 star reviews! Liars!! Shame on you!!
Errors of every kind is en mass in this book. From spelling to grammar to entire areas that needed to be edited out. Incohesive sentence structure on every page and virtually every paragraph. Repetitive thoughts from both H/h.
What sounded like a great idea for a great book turned into torture to read. The torture started on the first page and continued through to the last page.
There were areas that were interesting. But you are so bogged down in the disordered and spasmodic writing, you can not enjoy it.
Ms. Faulks, find a good editor and rewrite this book! You have a great idea and it is buried here!… (plus d'informations)
