Anna Faris

I love Anna Faris and was really looking forward to this book, however I did not realize it was a love and relationship advice book. I enjoyed and appreciated some of her stories but I don't really relate to or agree with all of the main-stream Hollywood ideals that she lives through. I think my opinions are somewhat bias against some of her ideals and I don't really need relationship advice, so, I gave it two stars, it was okay and fun. If this book interests you don't be afraid to give it a read, her stories are fun and can be relatable, this is subjective of course; she even admits humbly that she is not a professional but just wants to help.… (plus d'informations)

Faris writes candidly about much of her life. And while I appreciate her honesty about the times when she didn't have her sh!t together and her insecurities, I found myself just not liking her very much. It took me a long time to get through it because I just wasn't as interested as I thought I would be. Also, not for nothing but it is incomplete. There is one mention of her family "evolving" which I assume references her separation from Chris Pratt. For as much as she talks about how wonderful he is, it seems disingenuous to not explain the split in the context of the rest of her life. I might be a little TMZ of me to want all the details but she did also choose to write a book about her life.… (plus d'informations)
