Sophia Lyon Fahs is the author of multiple books. Fahs, who holds degrees from the College of Wooster, Columbia University, and Union Theological Seminary, taught at Union for seventeen years. . . .[S]he served the American Unitarian Association as [a] part-time editor of children's materials; she is now Curriculum Consultant in the Department of Education of the Unitarian Universalist Association. In the book's foreword the author wrote, "Through your own study of history you have by now learned enough about hunting for facts to realize that when one tries to find out about someone who lived a long while ago it is difficult to discover the exact truth.. .Not half of what you wish to know will be told. Dorothy T. Spoerl, formerly chairman of the psychology department at the American International College, Springfield, Massachusetts, has been principal of the Elementary School in Acworth, New Hampshire, and is now curriculum editor for the Department of Education of the Unitarian Universalist Association. About the book: while this book was first published almost eighty years ago, it has a wealth of wisdom and tradition, which never grows old.
