The Discoverers of America par Harold Faber
Didn't really meet my standard for real history, of any variety.
Excellent, easy reading overview of the major European explorers of the 15th, 16th and 17th century who contributed to the discovery of the "New World."
Because of the breadth of material covered, the author's summary of each explorer is necessarily limited in scope. Nonetheless, the material is presented in a concise and understandable fashion and requires no prior knowledge. My only suggestion is that better maps would assist the reader to fully appreciate the scope of each conquest/exploration.… (plus d'informations)

This is a book of photographs,from Kennedy's school years till his death. I was in high school when he was assassinated. The text was from the New York Times . The photographs were by Jacques Lowe and others.I enjoy the book, because it is part of our history.
