The premise for this book was good - an erotic fairytale, if you will. But, damn, it needed at least a good proof-reader. Then & than - not the same thing; new & knew - not interchangeable; and a car without a brake will break in no time! These are simple errors that should be caught long before the book is offered for sale!

Sorry, but this is a HUGE peeve of mine!

Another unusual pairing, neither of these men wanted a mate. Yet they fall for each other in the absence of the mating spell, and that was a nice change. A dark angel who is always cold and a djinn who is born of fire are not an ideal combination, but then, none of the couples in this series really are. With both of them having access to all kinds of magic, this was bound to be a fun story. Add a few surprise twists and this becomes a very entertaining book indeed.

Theris has a tough job, and one that depresses him in many ways. Still, he has been called to do it, so he will do his best. When he meets Ryo and discovers there is more to life than what he's been doing for centuries, it opens his eyes to new possibilities. And in more than one area: once he gets a taste of how much fun submission can be with a partner he trusts, he cannot get enough!

Ryo is a very powerful djinn with a family issue. Namely, his grandfather keeps butting into his life, trying to tell him what to do. He will have none of it, ignores the man's threats, and almost pays a very high price for it. Luckily, he has friends who can help.

If you're looking for a light, entertaining read, if passion and laughter go well together for you, and if some hot angel-on-djinn action is what you're looking for, you will probably like this book.

I liked this look at a potential post-apocalyptic scenario where paranormals have taken over the world after deciding that humans are too stupid to be left to it. Not that these guys are much better, but they are definitely more powerful. Humans end up as slaves, the ones who didn't succumb to the virus that caused the mess, that is.

Warren is one of those humans, and he has survived by being crafty and not trusting anyone. All he wants is some food, shelter for the night and not to become a slave. He also has a driving need to find his younger brother, but that is a very tough goal. Despite all this he has an irrepressible sense of humor that made me laugh several times. He is in for a major surprise when he is captured, finds he has a lot to learn about his new "master" as well as everything he took for truth. And as for falling in love? Not what he had planned.

Drakon is quite the character. He is a tough paranormal with interesting shifting capabilities and is just as convinced he knows what is black and what is white as Warren is. Except, he is on the exact opposite side. As he gets to know Warren, he is shocked to find that the human is his mate, but knows he has no choice but to accept that fact. The story gets wilder from there.

If you like wild adventures that are as interesting as they are imaginative, if paranormals taking over is a scenario that scares as much as fascinates you, and if you enjoy some very hot between-the-sheets action mixed in with your story, then you will probably like this book.

Another somewhat humorous look at a potential post-apocalyptic world, emerging paranormals included, had me smiling as much as the first book. The contrast between the human main character, Kennedy, and his vampire mate, Julius, is as obvious as can be. Until you take a second look and the human turns out to be a brat and the vampire a complete gentleman. What a hoot! Leave them in the wilderness on a trek to find freedom and adventure, fun, and hot between the sheet action (eventually) are guaranteed.

Kennedy has been taken prisoner – twice. First by Julius, which turned out fine, then thrown to the Harbringers and used as a punching bag. He doesn’t know which way is up and when Julius frees him he has a hard time adapting to yet another new type of order. They are on the run, trying to find a safe place and even though Julius scares him, he is also attracted beyond what is normal. Having to deal with the fact that his mate is a vampire isn’t easy, and admitting he is very, very attracted to the good-looking guy is only the first step.

Julius may look like a powerful vampire prince, but he is also a man with some dark secrets. He breaks away from his father's cruel rule because it is the right thing to do, but finds himself without an identity. It takes him a while to figure out how to find his balance, especially because Kennedy keeps throwing him off and is not at all like Julius expected. Not that he minds – but Julius doesn’t like being patient.

If you like adventures in a somewhat unlikely setting and with some humor thrown in for good measure, if you think vampires are hot, and if you want to find out what happens next in this vision of post-apocalyptic chaos, you will probably like this story.
