It is a great look at how to make coteaching and collaboration work between the AIG teacher and classroom teachers. The collaboration piece can be tough and this book is a great tool to help make that happen!

Heavily researched and thorough, it's a helpful guide for those developing curriculum and determining how best to meet the needs of their gifted and 2E students. It's full of examples and rationale for differentiation and how to implement it. Recommended for these admins and educators!
Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing.I requested this book for a few reasons: 1) As a child, I was involved in several gifted education programs at my public school, and I was a part of the honors program as a university student, and 2) my partner is studying education and has similar experience in gifted education programs. Mofield and Phelps's book is well organized and well designed, and I was pleased to see a chapter specifically addressing gifted education in regard to students from diverse backgrounds.
