2010. Includes George Sale, Thomas Carlyle, W. Montgomery Watt, Phillip Hitti, Annemarie Schimmel, John Esposito, etc. Amazing how many wrote very positively about the Prophet, but then contradicted their account by saying the Qur'an was written by him; Carlyle says of the Qur'an: “incondite masses of tradition, vituperation, complaint, ejaculation . . . “ So all speak positively of the Prophet but can’t get rid of all the negativity they have heard about him, the Qur'an and/or his dawah.
