Henry Van Dyke was born in Germantown, Pennsylvania, in 1852. He served as a pastor for twenty years, became professor of English Literature at Princeton, and was appointed United States minister to the Netherlands. He died in 1933

What a wonderful little book. It has become one of my Christmas favorites, right along with "A Christmas Carol".
Simon Prebbles and Joyce Bean did a great job narrating these holiday stories. I was pleasantly surprised that most of the stories were new to me & took advantage of the accompanying pdf file to read along with the narration for a few of them.
