This is weird, magical book. Give it to your favourite kid who loves to read about monsters and draws creatures with noses for foreheads.

When Mo eats food that he does not like he transforms into a large creature that eats all around the world. He keeps going in a circle eating everything in he path until he finally gets home, back to his normal self. This story is all about circles and would be good to show to younger students learning about them. The illustrations have circle hidden in them and even the sentences curve into half circles.

With this book I intended on it to be about math. However, I discovered how this book could pair good with a social studies lesson.

The book is about a boy who are everything except for string beans and cheese soufflé. The boy ate the different states, the president, and even his parents. This book is also great for children’s imagination. In a social studies lesson you can use this book to describe the different states and why each state he ate had a different flavor or why the pictures in the book for the different states were shaped like different foods. You can also use this book to pair the states with what they are famous for. In the book it says, “first he gulped down China, wall and all.” As a teacher you can explain the wall he gulped down was the Great Wall of China. This book in a way can expose children to the different states in the U.S.… (plus d'informations)
